SOCCER DAD OPENS PG’s FIRST INDOOR SOCCER FACILITY
Landover, Maryland—Good news for Prince George’s County sports enthusiasts: a new 50,000 sq. ft. indoor sports facility, Soccer Dome III, will open Dec. 1, 2010, at 8400 Ardwick Ardmore Road, Landover, Maryland 20785, offering two full-size artificial grass soccer fields for football, baseball, soccer, lacrosse and field hockey and a third sports court for basketball, volleyball, Futsal and indoor field hockey, along with batting cages and a pitching mound.
Sports fanatics can play on Soccer Dome III’s 80’ x 75’ playing field and a 260’ x 30’ sports court. The facility’s Sprinturf® artificial grass surface is so realistic players can wear cleated shoes, just as they would when playing on real grass. Unlike the great outdoors, the climate in the Soccer Dome is cooled by shade and breezes in summer and heated in winter.
Soccer Dome III, 400 Ardwick Ardmore Road, Landover, Maryland 20785 is conveniently located a half-mile from the New Carrollton Metro. Soccer Dome III also features a full-service snack bar, video arcade and party rooms. An online sports management system (www.soccerdome.com) allows teams and individuals to sign up for league play and classes and reserve field rentals or party times.
Players and groups interested in forming teams can also call Soccer Dome III at (240) 770-2088. Local business interested in Soccer Dome sponsorship opportunities may call Smith & Brooker at 202-257-7007.
